PODCAST EDITOR

This product is an AI-assisted podcast editing tool designed to make professional audio production accessible to independent creators. The vision behind the product is "Craft + Copilot" — where AI suggests and the creator decides, ensuring the human always stays in control of the creative process.

The editor offers three ways to edit: visually on a timeline, by editing the transcript as text, or through natural language commands. A key design challenge was building a multi-track waveform editor that feels intuitive to creators without traditional audio engineering experience. The goal was to remove the steep learning curve typically associated with audio software, so that creators can focus on storytelling rather than technical complexity.

Every design decision was guided by user research with solo podcasters, understanding their weekly workflow and the friction points that slow them down. The interface balances power with simplicity — advanced features are available but never in the way. The result is a tool that empowers creators to produce a podcast from start to finish, making them independent of production teams.
